Taken from forthcoming album ‘Vacancy At Nasa’

Oxfordshiresinger-songwriterand instrumentalist - Adam Barnes - unveils the next track to be taken from his forthcoming LP. ‘Electron’isthethirdsingleto bereleasedfromalbum‘VacancyAtNasa’, whichisdueforreleaseon7th February2018viaWildNativeRecords.

ProducedbySamWinfield(Amber Run, Fickle Friends),‘Electron’is the first song written by Adam that presents an unrelated narrative of a fascinating character. Ittells the tale of Donald Crowhurst-an amateur sailor who quit his job to enter the Golden Globe Boat race in the sixties-and unfolds the lies and psychotic episodes as he sailed‘the Teignmouth Electron’to his tragic death.

Much like the rest of the album,‘Electron’was recorded at Studio 91 in Newbury, and is tied seamlessly together with Adam’s warm vocals and poetic verses. Barney Morse-Brown enriches the record with his cinematic Cello arrangements, accompanied by the sound of gentle guitar melodies throughout.
