‘Electron’ is the first song written by Adam that presents an unrelated narrative of a fascinating character. It tells the tale of Donald Crowhurst - an amateur sailor who quit his job to enter into the Golden Globe Boat race in the sixties - and unfolds the lies and psychotic episodes as he sailed ‘the Teignmouth Electron’ to his tragic death. Recorded with producer Sam Winfield (Amber Run, Fickle Friends), ‘Electron’ is tied seamlessly together with Adam’s warm vocals and poetic verses.
